Usage Specifications
Select the appropriate model:
According to the properties, shape, size of the processed material, as well as the requirements of the machining process, select the appropriate type and specification of the carbide rotary head. For example, when processing materials with higher hardness, a carbide model with higher hardness should be selected; for different machining methods such as drilling, milling, and grinding, the corresponding special rotary heads should be chosen.
Install and disassemble correctly:
When installing the rotary head, ensure that its connection with the machine tool or tool is firm and has good concentricity. Use special installation tools and tighten them according to the specified torque to prevent loosening during the machining process. When disassembling, also operate carefully to avoid damaging the rotary head and the installation part of the machine tool.
Reasonably select cutting parameters:
Cutting speed, feed rate, and cutting depth are important parameters that affect machining quality and efficiency. These parameters should be adjusted reasonably according to the hardness and toughness of the processed material and the performance of the rotary head. Generally speaking, when processing materials with higher hardness, the cutting speed and feed rate should be reduced, and the cutting depth should be increased; when processing softer materials, the cutting speed and feed rate can be appropriately increased.
Maintain good lubrication and cooling:
During the machining process, use appropriate cutting fluid for lubrication and cooling. The cutting fluid can reduce the cutting temperature, reduce tool wear, and improve the surface quality of the machined part. At the same time, it can also flush away the chips to prevent the chips from accumulating on the cutting edge and affecting the machining effect.
Regularly inspect and maintain:
Regularly check the wear condition of the rotary head. If any wear or damage is found on the cutting edge, perform sharpening or replacement in a timely manner. At the same time, keep the rotary head clean and avoid debris and chips from entering its interior, which may affect its performance and accuracy. For rotary heads that have been used for a long time, also conduct precision detection and calibration regularly.
